Biomechanical handstand trainer
Master Handstand in days, not months.
ProHandstand stabilizes your wrists so your whole body can learn balance. You feel a free-standing handstand from the very first session — no wall, no partner.

- Day 1 Full support. Your wrists are stabilized — you feel a free handstand right away.
- Day 4 Less support. The armrest goes down a level — your body takes over more of the balance.
- Day 8 Minimal support. Your hands now balance an already coordinated body.
- Free The device is gone. The handstand stays.

Within 5 minutes of trialling the unit everyone was off the wall and upright in the centre of the yoga space. Freestanding in most cases for the first time ever.
The problem
Why most people never get their handstand
Gymnasts learn the handstand as a standard skill. Yogis, CrossFitters and calisthenics athletes often struggle for years. There is a reason — and it is not your talent.
- 01
Your wrists are holding you back
Your feet are packed with balance sensors. Your hands are not. Balancing an untrained body on unstable wrists is like locking a dog and a cat into a china shop.
- 02
The wall trains the wrong shape
Against the wall you practice a banana back and lean into support. Your nervous system memorizes exactly that — not the free handstand.
- 03
The goal is always far away
Kick up, fall, repeat. You rarely feel what a stable handstand is like, so your body never learns where it is supposed to go.
How it works
The gymnasts’ method — now portable
Good gymnastics coaches have their students place their hands under a mat and lean their arms against it. The wrists are taken out of the equation and the whole body can learn to work together. ProHandstand does the same — but it is rigid, adjustable in height and fits in your bag.
- 1
Stabilize the wrists
The base plate carries your body weight, the armrest works as a fulcrum. Your wrists stop wobbling.
- 2
Orchestrate the body
With a stable base, shoulders, core and legs learn to work together — in a free-standing position.
- 3
Reduce the support
Lower the armrest step by step. Your hands gradually take over the balance of an already coordinated body.
- 4
Stand free
Remove the device. Your body knows the way — because it has felt the goal from day one.

The journey to handstand is a quest that requires dedication and determination. The tool that Heddies has designed is a powerful help that every student of handstands would benefit from. I strongly support his project and encourage all handstand enthusiasts around the world to join his cause!

The ProHandstand prop offers a really unique way of working on handstands for both beginners and advanced Yogis alike. If you feel like you’re stuck kicking at the wall, the ProHandstand tool will help you build your confidence to move away from it and properly engage your core. If you’re already able to hold a handstand without assistance, the ProHandstand can help you get into different variations of the arm balances like scorpion and splits.

Strength and body weight training has been my passion and focus for 50 years and that specialisation has allowed me to break many world records. I’ve never been a “hand balance guy,” but now, with ProHandstand a whole new exciting world of dynamic inversion balancing has opened up a new fitness journey for me and I love it!

As a gymnast since 1982 and following my profession as a gymnastics coach since 2006 I know the techniques that work and which props make sense and which do not. ProHandstand was sent to me by Heddies to test it with my clients. I can confirm: This device works pretty well and accelerates the learning process. Great idea!

FAQ
Questions & answers
Do I have to pay now?
No. You simply reserve your spot — free and non-binding. As soon as pre-orders open, we email you with the price and delivery date, and you decide whether to order.
When will ProHandstand be delivered?
We will tell you the exact date when pre-orders open. Delivery is planned approx. 4 weeks after ordering.
Can I remove my reservation?
Yes, at any time — via the link in every email or by writing to us.
Do I need prior handstand experience?
No. ProHandstand lets you start as a complete beginner. If you can already do a handstand, you use it to learn advanced skills much faster.
Is it dangerous? Can I get hurt?
The risk is not higher than with free handstand training. You should know how to bail out safely (e.g. a cartwheel exit) — the manual shows you how. The device has no sharp edges and a soft rubber cap on top.
Is there a body weight or age limit?
No. The device works with any body type and weight, and your nervous system stays adaptive at any age.
Do I still need a wall or a partner?
No. You train completely on your own. If you feel nervous at first, do your first few kick-ups in front of a wall and increase the distance over the first 10–20 attempts.
How much time do I need to invest?
The more often muscles and nerves receive impulses, the better. Rule of thumb: several short sets of a few minutes per day plus one longer session.
